Critical to our work on behalf of our members and working families in Pennsylvania is helping to support those politicians, Democrat and Republican, who support legislation in the best interests of working families. One of our most effective methods of doing so is COPE.
COPE, which stands for Committee on Political Education, is a voluntary fund through which SEIU members, staff, and retirees can lobby and support candidates who stand up for issues important to working families, as well as hold politicians accountable to those who elected them.

The Committee on Political Education (COPE) is made up of 300,000 SEIU members, staff and retirees who contribute an average of $7 a month. We know when we speak with one voice about what working people need, politicians listen.
